Hair growing back?

I have a dog that is very furry. Some of her hair on the top of her head has rubbed off. It is not bald, but broken off I guess you would say. How can I get it to regrow?
Answers:
she probably has a skin condition, or possibly allergies. you should take her to the vet to get it treated, then the hair will probably grow back on its own after the condition is treated.
First, take her in for a checkup at the vet's office to make sure it's not a disease or a parasite, etc.

Work on nutrition. Try adding fish oil to her kibble and/or increase the quality of the foods she eats. There are some good supplements that can be added to her food to help re-grow lost hair.
Take her to the vet. Unless she spins on her head like a top she shouldn't be losing hair.

Don't laugh, I have seen dogs spin on their head.

Or, is there a door you keep closed that she wants to get through? My dog rubs his cheeks along the skirts of my sofas.
Depending on the type of coat your dog has, it may take an entire growth season to regrow new hair that has been broken off. Some dogs have "hair" that grows continually, others have "fur" that grows in cycles.
first you must find out why the hair on her head has rubbed off?? then and only then you can try to fix the problem
