Funny dog stories?

What's something your pet did that was funny?

My dog stole our dinner last night and we had to order pizza. My husband bbq'd 8 hot dogs, put them on a plate in the kitchen, and went to set the table. When we came back in the kitchen, all 8 hot dogs were gone. Our dog was licking his lips and looked sheepish. It was funny and we learned our lesson about leaving food out.

I have a 2 year old yellow Lab who is the biggest goof ball and trouble maker. He stole our Easter Ham this year and took it to my room to eat it. None of us saw the theft or saw where he went. By the time we found him the ham was gone and he was covered in glaze. He is famous for stealing usually for attention. When he does that he will show you what he has and then take off. But lately he has been at war with my boyfriend. Whenever my boyfriend thinks he has won my dogs gets even and then some. Lately when my boyfriend is sleeping my Lab urinates on him, so he gets out of bed. My Lab then takes his spot back. But recently my Lab learned a trick I did not know he learned, and it turned my face red. I taught my Lab name recognition, he does it for people and items. For people he go to them sit and put his paw on them. Well I have tried to teach him my boyfriend's name with no success. Until the other day when I called my brother a jack***, at that point my Lab went to my boyfriend and did his recognition response. Everyone started laughing because htey all know what it means. Well there were times I called my boyfriend that, either tohis face or when he was leaving. I guess my dog thought that was his name. I was only being humorus, sarcastic, in playful way when I said it I never thought my dog would pick it up. Ooops.
My dog will hide around the corner and when you walk into the room will jump on your foot to try and scare you. She will do this at least 5 times every night. She does it with my other puppy too. She will also hide under the bed so all you can see is the tip of her nose moving the bottom of the cover a little and than jump out at you.

She is very sneaky.

My other puppy (he is only 13 weeks) will climb up your legs like a cat and crawl onto your shoulder and snuggle you. It is very cute.
When my mother's miniature poodle Bisuit comes to visit, my dog Sonny gets very jealous. Sonny doesn't like to share his people, so when Bisuit comes to sit on my lap Sonny will go over to his toybox and dig for just the right toy to give to him. Once Biscuit is distracted, Sonny will come back to me and try to sit in my lap (I say try, because he is 65 lbs.)
We were looking to get a dog for my little brother--this must have been about seven years ago now. We walked into PetSmart on one of their shelter days, and there was this big red dog (a red heeler, we later discovered), lying on his back and legs sticking up in the air (like in the cartoons). My brother saw him and said, "That's the dog we HAVE to get!"

It's been seven years, and he still loves to lie on the floor like that!
my full grown Germain short hair sleeps on top of our full grown lab .he puts all four legs aronnd her and lays down balancing himself on her back it is the funnyest thing to see the lab seam to enjoy the cloosness .
One of my Dobes likes knickers, socks and bras.
There has been a lot of work going on in my street resulting in a load of workmen working in the street.
Anyway,i came home from work early one morning and my husband said he had something to tell me.My dog had gone into the dirty washing and took my knickers and bra outside and up to the gates in full view of all the workmen, and stood there shaking them in his mouth. He decided to drop them on the floor and left them there. Then a woman came to my house and told my husband that my underware was in the garden.
I was so ashamed that i couldn't look the workmen in the eye for the rest of the day.
