Got an 7 week border collie cross, his eyes are blue and black one eye looks glazed, could he be blind?

Answers:
Could just be a genetic thing, possibly he has some Australian shepherd in him as well (they often have partially blue eyes). If you post a picture it might be easier, but the best thing would be to have a vet check him out.

Your puppy could have a 'cataract' ... but the only person who can tell you if it is 'dangerous' is a VET. Take your puppy to a good vet and show him the 'glazed eye' and ASK ... and do it 'right away' because he could be 'blind' in that eye forever, or he could require 'surgery' to correct it, or the vet could know something I don't know about the possible cause of the 'glazing' ...

Hello, What is this Border Collie crossed with? If he is crossed with a Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepard this is perfectly NORMAL. Many of this breed have different colored eyes, etc.. Very beautiful.

***As well, he is still very much a baby. All puppies have cloudy blue eyes when born, and by about 12 weeks all will be fine. If still concerned at that point then have him checked at a vet. (It honestly does not sound like a half blind puppy)
