Have you ever feed your puppy a powdered calcium supplement if so how much/how often/ did you sprinkle it over

kibble/when did you stop?
Answers:
Puppy chows already have more than enough calcium for your puppy. Adding calcium can cause health problems with the kidneys and heart, I would discourage you from using such a supplement unless specifically recommended by your dog's vet.
No I have never done that because puppy's usually break away from their mother's milk easily but if you want to do that the best way would to be to crush it up %26 put it into a small amount of wet food you should have no problems with the puppy eating it down. Just remember a small portion of food though because they still have tiny bellys %26 you want the puppy to get the calcium.
