Have you ever bought medications mailorder from Canada?

Our dog needs about $500/mo medicines because she got a heart infection and that led to valve damage.

Looking online, I see we can just about halve what we spend on the meds. by buying through Canada. Of course, it's critical that the drugs be what they purport to be, because she will die without the meds.

Is there a way to safely and securely buy these medications online from Canada?

Thanks for your time.
Answers:
Lots of counterfeit meds around. Kind of like buying Cialis and Viagra on line...
My father has done this, with some joint medication for his dog. Worked just fine, he got his product.
I have bought meds from Canada and Mexico. They are the same quality as we get in the USA...Most of them are in secure packaging, and made in USA. Medsmex.com is a reputable Mexico site..( medicine from Medsmex takes from 11-17 days from order to delivery)
The best I can tell

THe drugs from Canada are the same as from the US

However the stuff from China may not be the same quailty
There all all sorts of Canadian drug sources, as well as many from Asia (especially India). The drugs that they offer are mostly the more popular. Be sure that you use a credit card, in case you need to settle a dispute and be prepared to get a generic substitution even if you are not expecting one. The drugs may not be FDA checked but you can't expect to pay $500/mo for a dog's medication.
I buy my Revolution from Canada..Saves me little over $30.00 to buy it from them. I have done this for years. My dogs get check for Heart worms every year and never had them. To tell you that my vet was not to please with me buying them from Canada. Like I told her I have 8 dogs if she can sale me the Revolution for the same price I would buy it from her. My Revolution comes in the same box and by Pfizer. I get free shipping so there isn't any extra cost. My vet can yell but I will continue to buy them from Canada.
I have no idea what websites you have looked at but I picked one I am familiar with and I believe most would operate similiarly

If you are going to do, always order well in advance, incase it gets held up by customs, also to know if items are in stock

http://www.petpharm.org/index-us.htm...

This pet pharmacy is in Toronto Ontario, but inorder to ship to the US they have a location in the Bahamas which is where the products are shipped from to their US customers in order to get around the US/Canada customs issue
The products come sealed by the manufacturer in their original packaging

there is a dispensing fee charged of $7.50USD per item if it comes in a 30 day supply and you want 3 months worth it's 3 X $7.50
flat rate shipping is an additional $18.50 USD

You will recieve a USPS tracking number

They also have on their Price list page provided the name of the generic name beside the brand name( if they have it available) you will know what name it is called, should you rather choose the cheaper generic alternative, but if you order the brand name that is what you get

In case it is a drug sold normally for human use normally--

http://www.canadarx.net/c/index.php... is the sister site for the human brands appears to be a different process for ordering meds off this site as a bunch of forms need to be filled out
http://www.canadarx.net/c/howtoorder.php... it appears they reroute the meds into Florida to ship to US customers so a 3 to 5 weeks order times is required
