Does anyone know where i can get a baby male Shorkie (shih tzu/yorkie mix) puppy for a price under $200 in new jersey? i know its a lot of information... but i would greatly appreciate it if you at least tried to help me. Thank you in advance %26lt;33

Jersey girl here! try rawhide rescue. i don't know if they have the exact mix but they might. i know they have a lot of shih tzu mixes. my friend got her shih tzu there and she loves it more than anything. the people are sooooo nice and helpful. go to www.rawhiderescue.com.
since you are looking for a mixed breed i would suggest shelters and rescue groups...
it's just another mutt so go to the shelter and save a life instead
go to the shelter and save a dog that really needs a home instead of encouraging some goof to continue to breed mix dogs and sell them for outrageous prices.
you could try using petfinder. you can locate specific breeds by where you live and most of the ads have prices and adoption fees. most of the dogs listed on petfinder are from shelters.
check your local shelters, there are LOTS of pets waiting for a loving home.
Quick note. "under $200" is the warning sign there. If you are at a set limit of how little you can spend it may be a bad plan to purchase a puppy right now. If you do you may well end up with a horror story. In the puppy world you really do get what you pay for outside pet stores (where you always get ripped off). Please reconsider this and look for someone who is breeding and knows their pups are healthy. You will save yourself SO much more money in the long run if you find someone who is reputable. That said, not too many are mixing shih-tzu's and yorkies so they may be hard to find at any price. No matter what you decide there is one very important guideline. Speak to the person you're buying from and insist on seeing the home where they are being raised as well as meeting at least the mother if not the father as well before you agree to buy one. Make sure there is at least a 10 day guarantee and that you are able to bring your pet back for a full refund if found by a vet to be ill or having a genetic disorder. Keep in mind, this is a dog who will likely live for 15-17 years. You need to think of it as an investment before you think of it as a pet.

You didnt say where you were located in NJ so that should help you out :] NEVER EVER buy a 'shorkie' from a petstore. The are puppy mill dogs. Just GOOGLE puppy mills and read some of the sites, its horrific. No good breeder will breed two purebred dogs together. Adopting a shihtzu yorkie mix will be a better bet and you will get him for cheap. They have SO MANY pups on petfinder.com just keep looking :]
